Little Vatican in Schnoor
The area around the St. Johann provost church is also called “Little Vatican”. Here you will find many Catholic buildings and organizations: the former Franciscan church from the 13th century is open daily from 9 am to 6:30 pm. AtriumKirche houses the city pastoral counselling office and offers advice and information. The “Open Door” counselling office, institutions involved in Catholic youth work, the university parish, the Church Office, the Seaman’s Mission and a Franciscan convent have their home in Hohe Strasse. Birgittenkloster with chapel and guesthouse in Kolpingstrasse looks forward to your visit.
